Welcome

Welcome to the new blog! Although we are closing our mac website we wanted to continue giving updates on our adoption story. In case you are wondering, there are no new updates! There was no matching seminar in July so we are waiting to hear when (and if) there will be one in August. It just goes to show how little we know about timing, we were thinking we'd be ready for a new baby in July when in fact we've had very little sleep and trips to the hospital with Nya. Although we are still anxiously awaiting the next matching we're also thankful that we weren't dealing with a newly adopted baby and a sick little two year old at the same time. Nya is now well on her way to normal (antibiotics are amazing!) and we're back to feeling ready for a new arrival.

A note about the name of this blog... I was trying to think of something a little more exciting than 'adoption blog'. Something to comment on our unique family culture (British, American, Hong Kong, Macau, Philippines). Any comments / other ideas?
