Now we know

After 2 weeks of no replies from our social worker we were beginning to wonder. Our friend and ICM social worker Tita Eva happened to be going into the DSWD office this week and so we asked her if she 'happened' to see our social worker could she ask how things were going. It turns out our social worker has been on medical leave for the past 3 weeks in Cebu having a surgery. So we're not sure if there was an August matching or not but we're happy to wait until our SW is back and able to work again. We are thankful how easy the entire process has been so far and how little our waiting has been in comparison to many other adoptions. It's just nice to know what's going on!
